Papers will be submitted online via the conference website. Submissions via email or post will not be accepted.
Abstract Submission Deadline: September 15, 2024
The conference will be held in both English and Turkish. Participants wishing to present papers must submit abstracts in both languages.
Papers presented at the conference should be original and contribute to scientific advancement in the field of urbanization, shedding light on fundamental issues in the field. Authors are responsible for writing and grammar errors.
- The abstract should briefly state the aim of the study and the methods used, summarize the findings with sufficient numerical details, and present conclusions within the framework of the findings.
- The abstract should be structured in compliance with the headings defined in the aim, method, findings, and conclusion. Abstracts will be collected via an online abstract submission system.
- Author names, affiliations, and contact information MUST be included.
- Names should be written in lowercase except for the first letter of each name and title, e.g., Title Author Name-Surname.
- The names of the institutions where the authors work must be clearly stated, including the name and address of the institution, e.g., University Name, Faculty of Architecture, Department of X, District/City, email@institution.edu.tr.
- Only the first letters of the words in the title should be capitalized (abbreviations are exceptions), e.g., Urbanization and Housing Rights.
- If abbreviations are used in the abstract, the full name of the abbreviation should be provided in parentheses.
Evaluation Process
The extended abstracts uploaded to the system will be evaluated by the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee to decide whether they are accepted for presentation.
The results of the abstracts submitted to the system by the deadline of September 15, 2024, will be communicated to the authors via email.
The acceptance process for the papers to be presented at the conference will be carried out through the Extended Abstract. For the abstracts accepted by the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee to be included in the conference program, the author(s) must REGISTER for the conference.
Those who complete their registration through the conference registration page will be sent an "Acceptance and Invitation Letter" which they can present to their institutions to facilitate their participation in the conference.
Participants will not be charged a fee for conference registration.
